As the co-creator of Wolverine and Swamp Thing, Len Wein is a legend in the comic book industry. Today, thanks to Ford Fiesta, you have the chance to ask him anything you want about what it’s like to bring some of the world’s most iconic superheroes to life.
To be honest, the word “legend” doesn’t really do Wein and his creations justice. “Icon” might be a more appropriate term. In addition to his role as co-creator of the world’s most famous Canadian mutant and the born-from-the-bayou walking vegetable, Wein (along with artist Dave Cockrum) crafted the characters of Nightcrawler, Storm, Colossus and Thunderbird in their reboot of the X-Men in Giant-Size X-Men #1.
Wein has also played a role behind the scenes, helping other big names in the industry. He was the first editor for Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ Watchmen, and his most recent contributions to comics are the “Curse of the Crimson Corsair” serial and the Ozymandias mini-series, which he wrote for the Before Watchmen prequel.
And we’re lucky enough to have him here in the comments below. Go ahead, ask him anything.
Unfortunately, the comments are now closed, but scroll through and check out Len's responses to readers' questions!
